I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire community for uniting in support of not using the 14 acres of HCC North Forest Campus land for a detention pond. The packed house at the meeting was a testament to the Northeast community's unwavering commitment to protecting our neighbourhoods' interests. This incredible turnout underscores the strength and resolve of a community coming together to address the political challenges and strategies that have impacted us for the past 50 years.
Your dedication to this cause reaffirms the power of collective action. Let’s keep this momentum going by continuing to advocate for the needs of our community and ensuring even greater participation in future initiatives. I encourage our elected officials to stand with us and amplify the voices of the Northeast community to ensure we remain visible on the political and developmental map.
As Mr Allen Provost aptly states, "North of 610 and East of 59" marks the boundaries of where the Northeast starts—and where our potential thrives. Together, we can make a lasting impact and secure a brighter future for all.
Thank you once again for your steadfast support, dedication, and advocacy. Your commitment to standing strong for our community makes all the difference, and I am honoured to work alongside you in this important effort.
Sincerely,
Ray / RC Jones
